Ayo Menulis Tabel Dalam Bahasa Inggris

Kalian tentu pernah tahu tentang tabel kan? iya yang bentuknya kotak-kotak yang didalamnya terdapat tulisan. Pasti semua pernah membuatnya ataupun mengerjakan soal yang ada tabelnya. Oke, kali ini kita akan belajar lebih dalam apa itu tabel, mulai dari pengertian sampai menulis dan cara membuat tabel. Tidak usah lama-lama, kita masuk ke pembahasannya. Keep scrolling!

 1.     Understanding Tables

1)      Definition of tables

According to wikipedia, a table is an arrangement of data presentest in rows and columns, or maybe in a more complex structure. Tables are widely used in communication, research, and data analysis.

2)      Function

        a.      Provides a summary of information expressed by numbers.

        b.      By using tables one can easily find out the various changes (increase or

              decrease) that have taken place in a problem.

3)      Types of tables

        a.      One-way table/simple table (characteristics in this simple table or one-way 

               table usually contain frequency, amount, grade, size, and so on).

        b.      Two-way table (a two-way table is a type of table that present the relationship

               between two characteristics).

        c.       Three-way table/high level table or manifold table is a type of table which

               presents the relationship between three characteristics at one).

2.     Sample of table

This is a table of Indonesia’s population forecast for the coming year. We can find the information about:

a)      Population Indonesia in 2020.

b)      Indonesia population in the coming year.

c)      Global rank Indonesia population in 2020 & in the years to come.

d)      World population in 2020 & in the years to come.

3.     Write of tables

A.     Tables 1

       bellow is a sample table of family expense.

FAMILY EXPENSE A WEEK

         as can be seen, there are 5 items:

a)      Item 1 tells about number for the items used

b)      Item 2 tells about what items are purehased in one week.

c)      Item 3 tells about the number of items purehased.

d)      Item 4 tells about the price of each item purehased.

e)      Item 5 tells about the total price of each item purehased 

This table can be used for evaluation of family expense. My family expense in a week Rp. 244.000,00. The lower price Is tempe and chili, at a price of Rp. 5.000,00. The highest price is rice, at a price of Rp. 60.000,00.

  

                 B.    Tables 2

bellow is about the expense of a house building that will be built for 4 month, with a house size of 36/70.

PLANNING A 300 MILION HOUSE

 

   There are 4 items:

1.      Item 1 tell about the number that determines the amount of goods, work and materials written in the table.

2.      Item 2 tell about the name of the work and materials needed.

3.      Item 3 tell about price /day/m/point and /kg.

4.      Item 4 tell about total price in terms of work value and number of items.   

Above is a table about the Cost Budget Plan that will be used to build a house with type 36/70. We can can see, with expense Rp. 300 million in building  a house for 4 months, we know the items needed to build a house.
